So my new PC got fucked up because reasons, at least I was able to finish almost every commission, just one to do.
99% sure it was the mobo, sent to RMA, hopefully they can either fix it or replace it, otherwise I can't afford a new one for some time :/

I have had so much random things and problems during september that kept me away from focusing on commissions, this month I was finally able to work again, but then i started rushing on buying a new pc as I was saving money in my currency and everyone is talking about more inflation, and to not lose value I decided to spend over a week deciding what to buy and i went to a lot of offices.. so after I did that, I built the new pc and I was happy to finally replace my old obsolete 2007 pc, and after I had everything set up, problems started arise.. I had a lot of help and guidance from for over 30 hours with a lot of testing on every pc component, and we managed to know that the motherboard is causing problems, mostly with usb ports and it is causing random crashes and weird shit

Anyway I'm really sorry for this as I wanted to have all commissions finished by now, and open for more to buy some more pc stuff that i really need, like an UPS as summer is coming and it equals to random power outages every day, SSD because I can save stuff and turn off pc faster using an UPS ( I seriously lost a lot of works because power outages), and some extra coolers because the case I bought was shit and without proper airflow things will overheat..
With a 1500usd budget in my country I only managed to buy a medium-end pc, without PSU, HDD/SSD, and the UPS

Right now im doing some last tests to be 100% sure it's the mobo, and then I'll build old pc and work again with it, if I can work on old pc just fine, I'll have the pics done for this month at least.
Next time I'll open for a single slot, so ppl don't have to wait forever

I was working on the price sheet and ToS to open for commissions, AND GUESS WHAT, PC dies :D
Ok im not very surprised about that, it was working a bit weird for this last month, but I thought it was going to last some more months at least. I bought an external drive to backup everything weeks ago, just in case... glad I did that, I didnt lose any of my works, every night i did backups, so that's good.
Today I tried my internal HDD in another PC, and it seems to work, so it's a reason to believe it's the PSU, as I also had problems with my new external drive not working properly on my PC (making clicking noises, but working fine in any other pc or laptop, I could fix that problem removing some devices from the USB ports, I do believe the PSU wasnt giving enough power or something)

My pc is 7 years old, and the only reason I dont buy a new one is because prices in my country (Argentina) are extremely ridiculous right now, I kinda wanted to wait a bit more to see if our economy will be fixed... Just to give you an example, a good PSU in USA costs around $80 usd... while in my country it costs over $300 usd.. Yes it's like that, everything costs from two to four times more expensive, so spending like $1500 USD for a medium-low end PC is just not worth it (not even a keyboard included!)

My idea is to get an overpriced PSU next week, it sucks, but at least ill be able to keep drawing, or that's what I think.. there is a chance that the mobo is fucked up, and that the HDD can die too, because today when i tried it in that other pc, I noticed it was extremely hot when i removed it, almost hurting my hand, unlike the other hdd which was just warm (there is no airflow problems or anything, everything was fine and the case was opened), so that is not a good sign <.<.
I'm extremely short on money, and that's why I was going to open for commissions, I spent a lot of money on my dog's medicine cuz ear infection, vet, and food. I was hoping to get paid from the portfolio thing these days, but seems that ill have to wait a bit more. And this PC problem isnt helping.

So yeah, Ill be opening for full illustrations commissions later today, I do have some money in my paypal, and hopefully two slots will be taken, that will be enough to afford a new PSU and an internal HDD just in case the other decides to die.

If mobo is fucked up, I dont know what to do, paying overpriced old LGA 775 socket mobo isnt worth it, so let's hope it's just the PSU :D

Also im temporary using a borrowed shitty laptop, with crappy i3 and 2gb ram, but it lets me sketch, so I can make the preview pics for the commissions

Last week, I lived a nightmare, my mom had a stroke on Tuesday 7am, it was unexpected, something that you think it wont happen to a healthy, stressless and happy person. She was always working on stuff she loved, many projects she started doing in these last years, and other future projects she had in mind, she was an amazing mom, artist and a Plastic art teacher in elementary schools.
I really don't know what else to say, it just doesn't make sense, one day she is here talking with me about some stuff she wanted to do while I was drawing something, and next day I'm in the ambulance with her watching how she was dying.. I just cant believe it, it's so shocking, so fucking unfair.
Doctors said she had brain death that day, problem with her carotid artery, half of her brain got affected.. she got a small chance to survive with a surgery (her brain was swelling, and to avoid her immediate death they did that surgery, which also didn't mean she was going to recover very well at all), surgery went ok, but she didn't have any reaction after the surgery. She was in the hospital all these days until Sunday, because she had a small brain activity, on sunday at 11am that activity stopped. I had her funeral today (monday, though it's tuesday now), and I still cant believe it.

As for art, two weeks ago before my mom had the stroke, I couldn't finish anything, I've tried doing speedpaints, zergs, continuing old art, and new stuff, most of those pics had so many mistakes or things that I couldn't draw correctly, that I had to abandon them.
Obviously this last week couldn't draw, but with my mom's death, I feel like if I've grow up much more, and understand that life is really.. shitty? unfair? short?, whatever it is, we are here and only thing we can do is live, because that's the meaning of life, just live.. otherwise you will kill yourself. This made me to be stronger, to feel more confident with me and with what I do, even if some of it includes dragon dic...tatorship. I'll keep doing what I like, and try to enjoy life with my art and my other projects that I told to my mom, which was happy about them and wanted to see them finished.

I'll miss her so much, I always wanted to be able to finish some of my projects to show them to her, she was a very inspiring person to me, both my mom and dad. Rest in peace.

First of all, thank you for those who has already bid on my auction, I really didn't expect anyone to bid at least until I had the examples for my character, that's why I made it to last almost one week, if I ever do another, it will last less time, like 2-3 days max.

About the power outages thing, my city is suffering these all the time, I'm being lucky for now, I got one today that lasted some hours, but there are people around my neighborhood without power since one week or more :I
So just in case, I wanted to warn you, when the auction ends, if I don't contact the winner, it's because I'm without power, not because I forgot or something :P, hopefully it won't happen.

I've seen people over the years feeling bad for their art and even wiping their galleries because that, I even did that in the past with a few old pics I had, and it's very stupid really. Apart of losing your progression in your gallery, you are leaving empty submissions on your watcher's favorites, losing all the comments they gave to you, and it's kind of annoying when you want to look for some pic that an artist did, and it was removed.
Also it's good to see your old art and compare it with the newer, you always notice how much you have progressed over the time, I do like to see old art from other artists too, it's interesting.

Now, the worst atrocity I ever committed, was throwing away all my drawings I did when I was a kid, like if it were trash. Those drawings I'm talking about were porn that I started to do when I was 11 years old :I, you have no idea all the stuff that I did, STUFF THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE, FETISHES THAT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THEY WERE FETISHES, FETISHES THAT I DON'T EVEN DARE TO DRAW ANYMORE. The thing is that I felt so ashamed about it when I was adolescent, that I destroyed it and throwed it in the trash........ boy... I so regret doing that, I would give anything to get back all my drawings.. NO SATAN I WON'T BE GIVING MY SOUL.
I know that porn isn't considered something "important" for many people, but for me, I put so much effort in all those drawings, even if they were ugly as hell because I had no idea about drawing dinos, monsters and dragons, they were part of my life in some way, and I lost them.
So yeah, I'll always regret doing it, I just would love to see them again, all my thousand of drawings from 2001-2007.

It was because FA was the first site where I found that I wasn't the only crazy guy in the world being an "otherkin dragon / dragonkin ", I obviously didn't know about those words before, I just used to call myself (to explain to my friends) as a "human with dragon soul" :P. So I wanted to be part of this community, I wanted to show my "dragon side", HEY I ISH DRAD HELLO EVERYONE, my dream was to be able to make a good reference sheet of my dragon and meet people like me.

2. What does your username have to do with you?
It's the name of my dragon, my alter ego, or even dragon self, I dunno. I knew about this black dragon when I was a kid, from dreams and random unknown feelings (long story), and I came up with his name when I was 15-16 years old (it was on 2005 I think), it's not a great name, but hey the spanish pronunciation is pretty cool, plus no one uses it :D

I don't know, but I admire artists that are friendly and open to talk, even if I never dare to talk with them. Probably dragonlovers are one of the most friendly artists that I've ever seen, they deserve all the love.

So it should be the continuation of the first answer: after some years, for some mental problems personal reasons I lost all the "interest" on the "dragon community" which was the only reason of why I joined here, people wasn't what I expected to be, it was all the opposite, so I felt bad and disappointed about it and I wanted to leave, because there wasn't any reason to stay, right?, in some way, it was me "alone" again with the dragon stuff. But in the other hand, I did some amazing friends and there are people that really likes to see my art, and the most important thing is that I learned to draw dragons, I thought that it was impossible for me in the past, but I never stopped drawing, so my dream wasn't to make just a reference anymore, now I dream about being an amazing artist, I love doing art, I love doing what I draw, it's my passion, so that's why I'll stay here and in any other art site, becuase I love doing art and I want to share it, as long people likes it.

Not important: So some years ago when I wasn't artist and I wanted to be artist, I downloaded a pirated version of Photoshop to try and doodle on it, I still use it, but honestly I don't like having pirated software, mostly if I'm going to profit from it, the thing is that I can't afford $600+ for Photoshop, otherwise I would already bought it..
So I was looking and testing different art softwares for days, and I found this one called IllustStudio, it's almost powerful as Photoshop, I've been drawing and testing it, and I'm loving it.. the only bad thing is that it's only in Japanese language, still there are some non-official english patches for it that I'm using.

I want to buy IllustStudio, but I don't know how, I've been searching on CLIP store, I've found some IllustStudio related stuff, but I think some of them are tutorials, and some kind of monthly payment version of it... How / where do I buy the full digital version of it? if that's even possible..

Is anyone interested in seeing doodles/sketches/works in progress from me? I rarely finish and upload my works, and I kinda feel bad about that, but I tend to sketch a lot, but to be honest I don't like my sketches, but if people are interested in seeing them, I can upload some of them <:
