Caitlyn Jenner settles fatal car crash lawsuit
Caitlyn Jenner has settled a lawsuit with a woman involved in her fatal car accident for an undisclosed amount on money, People reports.
Kim Howe was killed in February while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. According to officials, Jessica Steindorff hit the brakes on her Prius for unknown reasons. Caitlyn Jenner then rear-ended Howe, causing her to swerve into oncoming traffic.
Caitlyn Jenner won't be charged in fatal car accident
Stendorff sued Jenner claiming she suffered loss of wages and earning capacity. In her lawsuit, she asked for compensatory and punitive damages, including compensation for hospital and medical expenses.
Jenner was previously clearned of any wrongdoing in the accident. Officials determined the reality star was driving below the speed limit and "minimally slower" than Howe was. However, Howe's adult stepchildren and another family involved in the crash are suing Jenner.
