Posted 8 years agoHave you have moments of time go missing before? Have you ever experienced delirium to the point you had to be hospitalized?
Heres some helpful advice: sleep deprivation doesn't make you think so good. after the drug in Benadryl kept me up for 5 days straight (won't touch the stuff again), I was convinced life was just a game and added gameplay to everything. I saw hidden connections I imagined, and unraveled dark conspiracies. I felt like a metaphorical Icharus, grasping to much too quickly and getting burned up! Pink Floyd's Shine On You Crazy Diamond made a lot of sense.
Less than a week after I was discharged, I was making my way to my sisters house in my car. I missed my turn and The mania from my recent encounter returned. I cried out "Eris help me!" and then I blinked...
When I opened my eyes again, I was not at the same point on the road. I was now a couple miles down it, at the next turn to go to my sisters. I took the turn and thanked Eris.

Posted 12 years agoI never played the original Smash Bros on N64. I started with Melee on GameCube, and my best friend was one of those crazy talented super gamers, able to give even some of the more talented players a run for their money. I could never beat him, but at the very least, I would get better at surviving longer against him. Became decent at the game and found the one character I could use to even compete with mister SuperGamer friend.
When Brawl came out, I was visiting a Tiger in Tempe. We played through the entire Story Campaign together, forcing me to learn multiple characters (not just Marth). After that, I tended to do BETTER when I chose random than if I selected my characters during Multiplayer Battles. At a Furmeet near Denver, I managed to have some very Discordian wins with some of my worst characters (this was the same Furmeet where I was dealt 4 of a kind Aces in the first hand of a poker game).
The local Anime Con rolled around and one of the events I definitely did not want to miss was the Super Smash Bros Brawl Tourney (I've been going to NDK since before there even was a Fur Con in Colorado). I “signed up” by grabbing one of the numbered tokens, and managed to score fighting in the very first battle. Of course I chose Random as the other three fighters picked their characters. Once it was clear I intended to stay on Random, a second player switched from a Character to Random. With half the players Random, the crowd and their own pride pressured the other two contenders into picking Random also, soliciting cheers from onlookers. I had to play as Wario and did not end up winning, but that first battle and several afterwards had all four players as Random all because of me. So though I was eliminated in the very first round, I still call it a victory for Discordia. Hail Eris!

Yeah I know, it's been months since any of you have seen any change on this page. Sincerest sounding apologies, everyone.
I am still not sure what you would like to read up here. so I am just going to talk about Omegle.
I like chatting, and I like randomness, so it should come as no surprise that Omegle holds my interest. What baffles me somewhat is how Omegle seems to take interest in me. Or at least it feels that way. Maybe it is Eris for all I know. The fact is, I always get great luck on that site. I always get interesting conversation partners, and once even met a furry artist whose art I already love on there.
I mean, it's not like I never see "asl" or insta-disconnects, but the last two maybe even three times I used the site (more rare these busy days, I know) I only ever had one or two conversation partners, because I stayed on with the first person I was connected to for so long. Personally, though, I could never get into chat roulette (not enough chatting).
Do you enjoy sites that pair you with a random stranger?

Now many of you (a total of None) have asked me if I am an ordained POEE Preist or an Episkopos.
Actually, I have been called a Fnord Guru, though I have no idea why. So I guess, I am finding my own path to the Erisan mountain top.
The more I look around at the world, the more Chaos and Discord I see. I can't imagine being anything besides Erisan during these times. There are several passages in the Principia that REALLY resonate with me. I don't purport to study many religions, but from those I did learn some about, I had never found anything I had identified with so much.

in other random news, at Burning Man I heard these guys live. it was by far the most awesome music I heard there. and I was at the Infected Mushroom show!

what kind of music do they play? well it's rather avant garde and progressive. I suppose I could lump it in with my favourite genre: Progressive Rock. but you will just have to give it a listen and see if it's what you're into. it is definitely what I'm into.

I spent the last week at burning man! I was in the FUR camp and met some fellow burner furries. This was my first year and I definitely want to go more. it was amazing, really. At burns is the most welcoming community I have ever encountered. And I did not need to explain my religion to my neighbor, he already knew all about Discordianism and greeted me with "Hail Eris" when he found out.
I inserted many discordian elements into my drawn pirate tattoos for the night they burned the man.
after getting back, I stumbled across this interesting story about a simulated galaxy. as my subject line suggests, it's named Eris. video, pics and story here: http://tinyurl.com/3mb3ws8

what is the coolest thing you have made out of legos? I got ahold of all my old legos from my mom and I recently made a steampunk airship that is pretty cool with lotsa cannons (not to scale with lego dudes though).

when I was a wee lad, I liked sharks.

it was THIS SITE that introduced me to Discordianism, with the Towel Day banner by Nek0gami. I looked up the holiday on Wikipedia, and learned that it is celebrated as a Discordian holiday. From there, I read the Principia, and the rest is a drawn-out tangent.
